Maggie serves clients and advises on the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, and personal directives. She also has experience advising personal representatives and trustees with matters related to estate administration. Maggie has an interest in helping clients achieve balance and fairness in developing their estate planning documents.
Maggie grew up in Calgary and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2015. Prior to that, she received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Calgary. During her legal studies she interviewed and advised clients with Pro Bono Students Canada and Parkdale Community Legal Clinic.
As a professional, Maggie has acquired a unique body of knowledge working on intergenerational transfers of family businesses and estates involving agricultural property. She also has experience in dealing with corporations and real estate transactions in the estate planning process.
Maggie enjoys giving back to her community and promoting Albertan youth passionate about agriculture. With her husband, Eric, she likes to spend time outdoors, create and play music, and share home-cooked meals.
