Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of Victoria (with distinction) in 2011. She went on to complete her law degree at the University of British Columbia, earning her JD in 2015. Articling with a national firm in Vancouver, and then transferring to the firm’s Edmonton office, Emily was called to the Alberta bar in 2016. She earned her Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation from STEP Canada in 2021.
